Position

Mechanic (Aarong Dairy)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Perform thorough corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems to minimize the breakdown.
Perform preventive maintenance of the plant machinery as per schedule in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns.
Play active role on optimization of spare parts consumption.
Maintain documents like preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance & any other related papers as per instruction & guidance of supervisor and causes of malfunctions.
Perform any other mechanical jobs in the plant as assigned by the supervisor.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

The candidate must have class eight pass. Candidate with Trade Course Certificate in similar field will be given preference.

Experience Requirement:

At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements:

The candidate from the Diary/Food industries will be given preference.
Must have knowledge regarding repair & maintenance work of machines.
