National Sales Manager (BRAC Seed & Agro Enterprise)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Establish reasonable sales goals based upon current market trends, develop and implement effective strategies to achieve that goals
  • Lead a nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets across all regions
  • Coach, train and motivate the team with the aim of encouraging high performance in the team
  • Prepare yearly sales budget and ensure month wise products sales
  • Prepare sales forecasts on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Monitor customer behavior, competitor products and services, other market influencing factors and recommend appropriate strategies accordingly
  • Analyze field force performance and progress of work
  • Do market research and identify new potential markets and sales opportunities
  • Develop marketing strategies and conduct effective marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness among the customers
  • Produce brochures, leaflets and other promotional materials with valuable and engaging contents
  • Maintain the networks with potential customers and business partners in an effort to create sales opportunities
  • Ensure compliance of organizational rules and policies in sales administration
  • To develop sales team and channel distribution for assigned group of products
  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the supervisor/ Head of the Department
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action



Educational Requirements:

  • The candidate must have Graduation, Post-Graduation (BSc /Ms(Ag)/ MSc /BBA /MBA) with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
  •  Educational qualification may be relaxed for more experience candidates

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in relevant field will be given preference
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills, art of professional, selling, leadership, team building, quality management
  • Must be solution driven, smart and approachable, possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds
  • Must be able to design strategic planning, budgeting, monitoring tools and techniques, independent and capable of independent decision making, thinking out of box
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
