Job Description/Responsibilities:

Your role will be to make sure all of our employees have the information they need to contribute to achieving the overall vision of BRAC. Our employees are spread across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, and your role is critical in ensuring that everyone, no matter where they are, knows what is going on within the organisation. You will develop a comprehensive internal communication strategy and initiatives to support the organisational vision and strategy, working closely with the senior leadership team. The organisation is currently undergoing a significant change management process, in terms of the services we deliver and how we deliver them, so your role will be to ensure that all we bring all of our employees along for the journey. Key Responsibilities are :
Design and deliver an internal communications strategy to reach over 80,000 employees across Bangladesh
Lead the development and delivery of a large scale organisational change communication plan
Plan and deliver major internal events
Build and foster relationships with employees across all levels of the organisation and provide internal communications support for other departments as required
Continually look for and highlight internal communication best practices
Streamline cross-departmental information-sharing
Communicate new initiatives, policies, and procedures across BRAC
Support employer branding activities
Help establish a cohesive BRAC voice
Keep up to date on and contribute to global development and current affairs conversations, including maintaining an in-depth understanding of BRAC’s activities globally
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the history of BRAC and the role of each BRAC entity
Educational Requirements:
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years in change management, organisational communication, corporate communications or similar
Additional Job Requirements:

Self-directed and motivated. Able to work with minimal direction. A hand-raiser who sees something that needs to get done and gets it done
Proficient in Bangla and English
Extremely approachable - your door is open to ALL employees
Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
Proactive with excellent attention to detail and follow through
Possess a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion
Obsessed with professional development, brainstorming and collaborating to constantly generate better products
A strong sense of BRAC’s voice and what the organisation stands for, and a passion for making change in the world
History of self-initiated projects and proven experience overseeing projects from inception to launch
Ability to take feedback and input and come up with solutions that keep the integrity of the ideas
Willing to regularly travel outside of Dhaka
