Position: Knowledge Management Specialist

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Contribute to knowledge management processes of Skills Development Programme (SDP), specially the PROGRESS project for capturing learning on skill related impact and changes
Act in the processes of identifying, documenting and disseminating lessons learned and good practices on skills developments and other related works of PROGRESS and other projects of SDP
Carry out advanced analysis of internal M&E and other sources of data/ information and produce learning and reflection reports on skills development related results of PROGRESS and other projects of SDP
Take part in various internal and external studies on a range of thematic issues related to skill development in different trade and sector and overall women’s economic empowerment
Participate in different knowledge management forum/ seminars/ conferences on skills development and women’s empowerment
Take initiatives to develop skills of relevant project (PROGRESS) and KM staff in favor of skill focused knowledge management processes in SDP
Support the SDP projects and KM staff to capture learning and good practices on skill development and income generation related changes in BRAC
Take active part to develop project proposal, designing innovative projects under SDP, lead to process documentation of PROGRESS and other project of SDP
Develop a knowledge management hub, collect and preserve all knowledge and learning related document of SDP
Educational Requirements:
Masters in Social Science/ Anthropology/ Development Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ relevant job experience is required. Candidates having experience in the field of quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis will be preferred
Additional Job Requirements:

Sound conceptual knowledge on major elements associated with development/ NGO management;
In-depth empirical and analytical understanding on key development issues in the context of urban and rural Bangladesh;
Excellent team player and building relationships
Demonstrated ability to implement advanced data analysis and database management tasks
Good written and verbal communications skills in English and Bangla
Age Range: Maximum 40 years
