Position: Project Manager, STAGE (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Project Implementation and Coordination:
Implement and coordinate all the operational activities according to work plan of the project
Communicate with the potential Training Service Providers (TSPs), and establish strong liaison with the selected TSPs, Secondary schools & Dakhil Madrashas to initiate the project objectives
Organise different types of meetings as per requirement of TSPs, Secondary schools & Dakhil Madrashas
Ensure service contract/ MOU signing with selected TSPs for conducting training as per project requirement
Organise meeting with selected Secondary Schools & Dakhil Madrashas to finalize list of students & ensure learner attachment with selected TSPs
Finalize trades, class routine, relevant learning material, consumable items using during practical sessions etc. for ensuring quality training in a safe environment
Coordinate with Secondary Schools & Madrashas to generate students’ profile and official letter to student to enroll at nearby TSPs for attending selected NTVQF course as per class routine provided by TSPs
Organize capacity building training programme (CBT&A, NSC) for the Instructors according to requirement
Communicate with BTEB for collecting relevant trade curriculum, CBLMs and trainers’ manual
Assist to enrollment of learners in BTEB for summative assessment and ensure their National Skills Certificate (NSC)
Identify the best performing trainee to provide awards in collaboration with A2I Project Monitoring and Supervision:
Ensure regular monitoring and identify improvements areas to ensure quality training
Frequently travel (70% of Job time) to different project locations in different districts of the country to fulfill the project’s goal
Ensure regular meeting with stakeholders to discuss field progress, challenges and development areas
Monitoring the financial transactions and ensure the payment of bill voucher in collaboration with Accounts Establish and maintain external network:
Maintain close liaison and cooperation with the GoB, BTEB and A2I stakeholders for effective mutual cooperation
Explore and develop new relations with other national and international stakeholders relevant to skills sector needed for success of the project
Assist to organize different workshop with GoB stakeholders and partners
Maintain a strong relationship with the stakeholders of TSPs, Secondary schools & Dakhil Madrashas
Liaise with relevant stakeholders by organizing community meeting , workshop, seminar to explore the important of vocational education (TVET) comparing to general education Conducting research and Impact studies:
Assist in conduct baseline study, project evaluation study and other relevant researches
Assist to develop the tools of evaluation study of the project and ensure the proper implementation
Assist in develope analysis plans, and synthesis of data
Collect data from field according to need of the project implementation
Work closely with survey team and Project partners and other stakeholders when required for collaboration
Assist in disseminating study findings with policy maker to scale up the project Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare monthly, quarterly and semi-annual progress reports within stipulated deadline
Share the monthly project performance report with management
Prepare reports for review and suggest necessary improvements
Provide information and analytical support for producing reports and publications to develop communication materials for the project
Assist to develop sharing tools in different workshop with GoB stakeholders and partners.
Assist in managing project knowledge
Educational Requirements:
Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ relevant job experience in development sector is required. Candidates having experience in the field of technical and vocational education and skills sector will be preferred
Additional Job Requirements:

Have knowledge on education system of Bangladesh
Have technical knowledge in various occupations that include Garments/ Construction/ IT/ Transport equipment etc.
Excellent partnership building capability
Efficient in planning and organizing project
Strong computer skills at MS Office, Excel, MS-Access and SPSS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bengali and English.
Familiar with various monitoring tools and approaches
Age Range: Maximum 40 years
