Position: Trainer, Urban Development Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Conduct capacity development training and workshops for community groups, city corporation and municipality officials
Ensure that yearly targets for trainings and workshops are achieving maintaining high standards
Assist in the capacity development, needs assessment of city corporation and municipality officials, elected local representatives, community groups, youth and adolescents
Designing and expanding training methods based on the needs of the organisation and the individual
Considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping the training expert
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and by observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones
Having an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the delivery of e-learning packages with the help of BRAC ICT
Maintain necessary documentation and prepare monthly training reports
Educational Requirements:
Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in national or international development organisation or programme is required
Additional Job Requirements:

Have knowledge on training and facilitation methods, tool and techniques, contemporary development issues, especially in the context of Bangladesh
Have knowledge on urbanisation, urban poverty and urban development, urban governance structure and processes, gender and women empowerment the context of Bangladesh
Have skills on training, facilitation and coordination, use of different training methods and tool, time management
