Sector Specialist, Protection GBV Cluster (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Project


Job Description/Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Technical Specialist, Protection Gender Based Violence (GBV) to ensure the Protection GBV Operations team are implementing the strategy and activities of the cluster at a high standard
Coordinate between Technical Specialist, Protection GBV and the Protection GBV Operations Team by providing feedback to the Programme Organisers (POs) on MIS and performance of the team
Ensure administrative and logistics needs of the Protection GBV Team in the field are promptly addressed by coordinating with the various Branch Managers as and when needed
Compile different reports and submit to the Technical Specialist, Protection GBV on regular basis
Ensure Standard Operating Procedure/ Guidelines and Quality Assurance guidelines are being followed in the field
Monitor quality of field performance on a regular basis
Flag any potential issues in implementation, identified by the team to the Technical Specialist, Protection GBV

Requirements

Educational Requirements: Masters from any recognised university/ institutions in areas of Human Rights/ Social Work/ Gender Rights/ Child Rights/ Law/ International Law/ Economic Development with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in Protection GBV sector is required. Candidates having experience of work in Protection GBV sector in emergency humanitarian crisis situations will be preferred


Additional Requirements:
Only female candidates are eligible to apply
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, Skype, WhatsApp etc.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to adapt to changes and work in tense situations
Strong motivation and ability to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders
Excellent report writing and communication skills in both English and Bangla
Being able to speak the local Chittagong dialect is a plus
