Position: Sector Specialist, Women Empowerment; Humanitarian Crisis Management Project (HCMP), Contractual

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Train team on principles of case management and capacity building
Monitor BRAC case management activities, referral pathways, information management and supervise case management of WFS case workers
Facilitate elections for women’s leadership groups in areas where BRAC is offering protection services
Ensure reporting and meet regularly with women’s leadership committee
Identify and advocate opportunities for women leaders to participate in decision making process
Supervise information dissemination process across BRAC protection activities from women’s leadership committees
Ensure smooth running of protection livelihood activities and partnership building with other BRAC livelihood activities
Liaison with livelihood programme in BRAC and other organisation to ensure all women have access to livelihood programme
Develop opportunities and partnership for income generation
Educational Requirements:
Masters/ Bachelors from any recognised national/ international university/ institutions with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of work experience is required. Experience to work with vulnerable communities will be added advantage
Additional Job Requirements:

Being “inside “the community by working closely with the established community structure as well as working with Imams, teachers, Mahzis, women groups, youth groups, persons with disability, among others
Ability to coordinate with partners
Have fluency in English/ Bangla/ Chittagonian language
