Position: Senior Manager, Programme Development

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Coordinate project design process, including overall project management, team formation and interaction, appropriate workshop and meetings, with external or senior level support as required
In partnership with the Head of PD, Manage programme development process through closely working with different entities of BRAC and strategic partnership teams to develop/create appropriate programming for different opportunities.
Support effective and meaningful cross-programme/BRAC country offices/BRAC affiliates coordination and their interdependencies to deliver quality outputs, including project design, proposal development, logframe, etc.
For specific initiatives, manage critical relationships across BRAC entities (BRAC, country offices, and BRAC affiliates) to ensure productive coordination and strong relationships
In partnership with partnerships team of PRL follow up on key external partners (donors, foundations, private sectors, and academia) to explore new programming opportunities.
Support global and regional efforts to develop programmatic, fundraising, communications and other strategies as needed.
Be a driver of strategic change management efforts by actively working with different BRAC entities (BRAC, BI country offices, BRAC affiliates) to move towards a reflective, curious, “need to share” culture
Identifying opportunities for improved collaboration and system improvement supporting better project development, proposal development, and grants management. This includes self-reflection, soliciting feedback on PRL, and conducting after action reviews
Develop and lead structures/activities to support better coordination between RED, Advocacy, Communications, Monitoring, PRL and affiliates to drive more evidence-based and knowledge-driven products
Contribute to or manage information systems, such as a database of international consultants, library of standard texts, past proposals, and intelligence on donors.
Support senior leadership’s decision-making process in identifying the high leveraging partnership opportunities and forecasting significant trends
Support in formation the of PRL team, TOR, and processes, particularly in onboarding new members and communicating with other BRAC teams
Support in building leadership and management capacity in team members across BRAC, support them to improve their programme design and writing skills.
Represent BRAC and PRL at various internal and external forums, when required.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in any discipline from any recognized University with CGPA 2.5 and above.
Experience Requirements:
7 years or more in development or related field including Programme Management, Resource mobilization and Fundraising/Grant writing. Experience in Research, Knowledge management functions is also required. Experience in managing external relationships and event management and International exposure will be added advantage.
