Position: Programme Manager, HRLS

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to the Protection Gender Based Violence (GBV) Operations team by coordinating with Protection GBV Team Lead and Associate Director to ensure a high standard of implementation of strategy and activities
Maintain Coordination between the Protection GBV Team and Associate Director by providing feedback to the Team Lead regarding MIS and performance.
Assist to develop proposal, fund raising, budgetary control, result framework and quality reporting for the Protection GBV sector
Monitor quality of field performance and collect various reports from the Protection GBV Team Lead for review and assessment on regular basis
Ensure Standard Operating Procedure/ Guidelines and Quality Assurance guidelines are being followed in the field
Flag any potential issues in implementation, identified by the Protection GBV Team Lead to the Associate Director and vice versa
Act as a Resource Person for Cox’s Bazar staff capacity building training and workshops
Undertake week long field visits at least once a month, for data collection and knowledge management efforts
Represent Human Rights and Legal Aid Service’s (HRLS) Cox’s Bazar activities and involvement both within BRAC and outside BRAC as and when necessary
Coordinate and conduct any field visits for visitors, donors, etc. by communicating with the field, HO as well as the Visitors Unit if needed
Educational Requirements:
Masters from any recognised university/ institutions in areas of Human Rights/ Social Work/ Gender Rights/ Child Rights/ Law/ International Law/ Economic Development with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in Protection GBV sector is required. Candidates having experience of work in Protection GBV sector in emergency humanitarian crisis situations will be preferred
Additional Job Requirements:

Good understanding regarding the state of human rights and gender based violence
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, Skype, WhatsApp etc.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to adapt to changes and work in tense situations
Strong motivation to multitask, prioritize and manage workload efficiently
Ability to undertake field visits and interact with different stakeholders
Excellent report writing and communication skills in both English and Bangla
Ability to speak the local Chittagong dialect is a plus
