Position: Sector Specialist, Organisational Development, Gender Justice & Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA) and deliver training in regular basis as per monthly action plan
Plan and conduct workshop, discussion and dialogs with men and women staff of all programs to create gender responsive working environment.
Visit field offices and follow up (60%) all unit offices Gender action plan to enhance gender responsive staff relation and to achieve organizational gender equality goals
Capacity development plan and initiatives for GJ&D staffs on leadership and human resources development
Conduct special training for program staff on gender analysis and mainstreaming and prepare and regular update of gender profile for staff and list of program participants in the casement area
Maintain liaison with District BRAC Representative and local government institutes to gender justice
Attend DPC and other programs regular forums and events to raise gender issues
Initiate VAWC related activity, collect VAWC related information and ensure necessary psychosocial support
Developing and reviewing training materials (Handout, Module, Manual, IEC & BCC) for Gender training, workshop & Forum
Mobilize field office and programs of BRAC to observe national and international days on gender, women and human rights and Child Marriage
Support other unit’s activities for knowledge management, M&E and integration as a focal and disseminate communication materials on workplace gender equality, VAWC
Prepare action plan and ensure reporting regularly
Educational Requirements:
Masters in Social Science/ Gender Studies/ Psychology from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
At least 2 years of working experience in relevant field is preferable
Additional Job Requirements:

Need basic understanding on Gender & women empowerment issues
Strong Understanding on GJD’s goals and objectives
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in and with teams and cross-cultural sensitivity
Skills on facilitate different training session, workshop and meeting
Age Range: Maximum 35 years
