Position: Manager, Advocacy & Networking, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Coordinate the development of advocacy strategy for gender equality promotion
Plan, organise and coordinate advocacy campaigns and influencing events dialogue, discussion, workshop, seminar, meeting, rally etc. collaborating with and engaging different stakeholder as appropriate
Establish and strengthen relation and partnership with government, civil society actors/ networks/ alliances, UN agencies, private sector and media
Coordinate and maintain liaison with global platform and campaigns (e.g. Girls Not Brides partnership, Engage Men & Boys)
Supervise the implementation of the network grant project
Coordinate execution of study and research on advocacy for gender equality promotion
Contribute in developing the concept note, proposals,advocacy progress reports and learning products required for BRAC and other stakeholders
Educational Requirements:
Masters in Gender Studies/ Social Science/ Development Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
At least 5 years of working experience in relevant field
Additional Job Requirements:

Have conceptual Knowledge on key gender and development in the context of Bangladesh
Have extensive campaign experience with regard to using policy, research, lobbying, media and digital platform
Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience on gender policy mapping
Skills in developing reports on strategic directions
Excellent team player and building relationships, willingness to learn from others
Fluency in office software, email, web-based applications and databases
Willingness to monitor ongoing developments inside and outside the client's environment to keep them informed and anticipate problems
Age Range: Maximum 35 years
Salary Range: Negotiable
