Position: Senior Manager, Skills Development Programme (SDP)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Manage the upcoming Danish project in close collaboration with the BRAC Communications unit as well as external stakeholders
Responsible of knowledge management for SDP, gathering learning from across the programme and work closely with the communications and fundraising specialists to understand the different needs of knowledge products for various audiences focusing on social inclusion
Ensure conduction of evidence based research, especially in areas of gender, social inclusion, etc.
Develop a knowledge management strategy for SDP that will be in line with the overall Skills Development Strategy
Lead to develop knowledge products for both internal and external audiences for workshops, round table discussions, media etc.
Enquire on existing internal partnerships for learning and explore new potential internal partnerships to develop multi-programme project designs
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Communication/ International Relations/ English/ Economics/ Public Administration/ Management or any other related subject from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of skills development focusing on social inclusion, knowledge management and communications is required. Candidates having experience in knowledge management and report writing will be preferred
Additional Job Requirements:

Sound conceptual knowledge on major elements associated with development/ NGO management
In-depth empirical and analytical understanding on key development issues in the context of urban and rural Bangladesh
Excellent communicator with strong writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Bangla
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment and deliver results in a timely manner
Have client focused attitude with necessary analytical, organisational, project management and problem solving skills
Able to work independently, tackle challenges constructively and find creative ways forward
Age Range: Maximum 40 years
