Position: Manager, Institution Building(IB) , Community Empowerment Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Provide support and supervise Institution building component of CEP to ensure that all programme targets are met timely ensuring quality results
Provide support and necessary direction to staff for smooth and effective implementation of CEP IB component and urban initiatives
Manage new initiatives and pilot projects on Institution building , and ensure their successful implementation for future scale up
Develop strategies to ensure the Peoples organization's sustainability
Have good coordination and linkages with different Government department/Institutions and ensuring adequate support to the Grass root Institution for getting registration
Make regular field visits to follow up IB/ urban component activities/initiatives
Coordinate with different BRAC programmes for implementing inter-programme partnership projects
Take initiatives to capture learning and ensure necessary documentation of IB and Urban activities and results
Develop various reports and relevant communications materials
Maintain coordination with CEP’s internal training unit and take initiatives for developing technical and managerial capacity of IB staff
Maintain coordination with CEP’s internal monitoring unit and take initiatives for monitoring of staff, activities and outputs
Supervise and manage CEP Urban initiative for successful implementation
Assist in developing staff capacity in necessary and relevant area of competency
Educational Requirements:
Masters preferably in Social Science/ Economics/ Anthropology/ English/ Public Administration/ Gender Studies/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Political Science from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 3.00 in all academic examinations. Any professional degree relating to development sector is preferable
Experience Requirements:
At least 5 years working experiences in a relevant position in any national or INGO.

Have Knowledge on people's organization, community mobilization, empowerment, social context of Bangladesh, social condition of women in Bangladesh ,Government safety net Programs, asset based community development and result base management
Experienced in working with interventions on social mobilization, women empowerment and community development and urban development
Skills on leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication, analytical ability, multitasking, time management, facilitation, presentation and Report writing, conflict management, budget , logical framework and project proposal
Have competency on adaptability, teamwork, relation building and change management
Age Range: Maximum 45 years
Salary Range: Negotiable
