Position: Team Lead, Health (Contractual), Humanitarian Crisis Management Project (HCMP)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Provide thematic and technical support to ensure implementation of strategy, approach and standard of HCMP health sector
Coordinate with all health sectors of government, UN and NGOs at district and sub-district levels
Maintain an overview of all emergency health programme in technical areas of expertise within the region and carry out monitoring and evaluation visit as required
Provide support to fundraising efforts for humanitarian health capacity building programme
Maintain liaise between all the functional sectors of HCMP as needed
Provide input into the Performance Management of respective team members
Prepare contingency plan for the region for any emergency; flood, cyclone, land sliding etc.
Lead/contribute and work together to overcome any health related outbreak
Prepare reports for donors, government, UN agencies and internal stakeholders on regular basis
Educational Requirements:
MBBS from any reputed public or private university/ institution. Candidates having MPH will get preference
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ of relevant work experience is required. Experience of work on Health in emergency is added advantage
Additional Job Requirements:

Clear understanding of health related issues in context of emergency situation
Strong motivation to work under pressure and focused on delivering results by taking calculated-risks and problem solving approach
Sound knowledge on MIS, budget and result frameworks
Strong written and oral communication skills with high level of proficiency in relevant computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships, networking in a multicultural environment
Able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, setting priorities and meet deadlines
Strong physical ability to do field work in harsh camp conditions
Excellent team management and leadership skills
