Position: Senior Sub Assistant Engineer/Sub Assistant Engineer, Construction

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Prepare complete, accurate and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications
Accountable for receiving approved submittals from Architect or Engineer and notifying the Project Supervisor of potential schedule impact
Assist Supervisor by preparing all necessary back up relating to change requests
Being on site to oversee all the construction process
Liaison with government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site in terms of licenses and safety
Supervises the subcontractors and ensures that they are punctual and that they deliver the assigned work on time
Responsible for timely completion of all required project close-out documents as per contract.
Distribute contract documents to subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, and general conditions. Include any accepted alternates or addendums with documents
Distribute final requirement documentation to subcontractors
Schedule all required construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, architects and owners
Solicit subcontractors and suppliers for proposal prior to proposal submission time
Prepare correspondence with Owner, Architect, Engineers, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc.
Proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety. Utilize and maintain tools: schedule and document management to track and record project performance
Collection of the measurement, preparation of the bill, ensures prompt payment to Subcontractor and Suppliers occurs according to percentage complete timely upon receipt from Owner
Document quality and progress of each Subcontractor and Suppliers. Update Subcontractors and Suppliers of any changes to the plans, specifications and/or schedule
Inform management of productivity, costs, quality control, document management and processing of applications for payment. Notify management of any issues arise which affects quality, budget, progress and safety
Monitor staffing needs, evaluate performance, and address employee relation issues as warranted for staff
Ensuring the safety & security of the project premises
Check the store, stock; ensure the quality of the received materials and Place the requisition of the materials
Prepare the inventory list after completion, handover to the concern authority maintaining the proper formalities.
Organise meeting with the project staff to find out the blockage, remove them, consult with & inform the authority and to continue smooth progress of the work
Educational Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 2nd class/ division or Equivalent GPA / CGPA in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
