Position: Field Coordinator, General Food Distribution (Contractual), Humanitarian Crisis Management Project

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Assist Program Manager (PM) for planning of the General Food Distribution (GFD) & E-voucher
Prepare the work plan/ distribution plan in coordination with Donor, Sr. Logistics Officer and Govt. LSD of the project
Coordinate the preparatory activities of the project
Assist PM to ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities, and monitoring track the achievement of overall project objectives
Attain in the Meeting & Session at CIC office
Prepare visibility materials and provide support to the team for proper uses of the materials
Ensure effective monitoring of the project activities
Review project related crucial problems which are forwarded by the field staff and take necessary step to resolve them on priority basis
Identify staff training needs & ensure need based training for respective individuals timely and appropriately
Provide on the job training, coaching and mentoring to the project staff working in the field office
Ensure and promote team sprit among the staff members and maintain gender sensitivity
Conduct team meeting regularly and motivate them to achieve the project activities
Ensure that local purchase and expenditure are done as per BRAC-HCMP policy
Maintain the stock book, Inventory and other essential register properly and timely in effective manner.
Checking the all bill voucher within the team and forwarded to Finance officer for necessary action
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report, submit to line manager in time, and take lead roll to prepare the half-yearly, yearly and project closing report with the instruction and support of line manager
Effectively coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and effective functions of office management in all respect
Maintain congenial and comfortable team atmosphere among the field office
Ensure preparation of all periodic reports on implementation progress including financial report
Educational Requirements:
Master/ Bachelor degree in social science and other relevant discipline. Education qualification may be relaxed for experienced staff.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience in rural development project, general food distribution, E- voucher & DRR activities

Have knowledge on planning & implementation, budgeting & reporting
Have ability to analyses complex problems, evaluate alternatives and implement
Creative recommendations, organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and
Complete assignments with minimal supervision
Meeting deadlines, and working independently within established guidelines
Have excellent knowledge on MS Office
Excellent language skills both English and Bengali
