Senior Sector Specialist, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Lead implementation of gender capacity related activities for specific zone and ensure quality of training
Supervise and monitor the activities of Sector Specialist in their assigned zone to ensure effective operation of planned actions and proper staff management
Ensure refresher training for 170 model branch offices, visit and follow up all unit offices to ensure quality of gender capacity related activities
Ensure execution of different workshop, discussion and dialogs on organizational gender priorities with respective program management
Maintain effective coordination with local level program management (RM, AM,DM, DBR etc.) related to gender equality activities
Ensure Gender Justice and Diversity participation in District Program Coordination (DPC) and other organization level combine forums/ meetings to raise gender responsive work environment issues
Ensure celebration of special days and events on gender, women and human rights national and international days
Supervise and facilitate gender specific TNA, staff attitude and work environment related survey in their assigned zone
Prepare monthly action plan and periodic progress report on gender capacity related activities for specific zone
Compile training reports, database of training participants, pre and post test results and training evaluation reports
Lead Sector Specialist to ensure FD6 activities and regular interaction with DBR and local government official
Attend need basis special gender training and develop module and compilation of all kinds of training module of the year
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations
Experience Requirement:
At least 3 years experiences of work in gender and women empowerment.
Additional Requirements:
Have excellence knowledge in Social Science, specially focusing on Gender and women empowerment.
Good Understanding on organization’s goals and objectives.
Strong Understanding on GJD’s goals and objectives and BRAC gender Strategy
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in and with teams
Have cross-cultural sensitivity
Have quality on leadership and supportive supervision.
Excellent skills as a facilitator
