Job Description/Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities include:
To Prepare financial statements and donor reports
To prepare the consolidated financial statements
To Coordinate the entries in the accounting software “ERP”
To prepare forecast and budget for new projects and present variance report to the program managements
To extend support to the external and internal auditors
Day to day correspondence with the field office accountants, disseminating information and resolving the financial issues
To visit field offices to review and strengthen the process of financial management.
Educational Requirements:
At least M.Com in Accounting/MBA in Accounting /Finance from reputed University preferred with partly qualification of CA/CMA/ACCA.
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience ( at least 03 years in BRAC Head Office or a BRAC International country)
Additional Job Requirements:
Required Competencies and skills: - Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to management and other stakeholders. - Fluent in English speaking and good in report writing, good knowledge on NGO financial environment and excellent communication skill - Able to work in stressful conditions to undertake multitasking responsibilities. - Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills, sound in financial decision making, MIS and cost analysis - Advanced in IT skills, especially in MS word/excel/PowerPoint, competent user of financial database and software - Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
