Position: Deputy Manager, Curriculum & Material Development, BRAC Education Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Design, develop and revise training modules, teacher's guide, manuals, textbooks, supplementary books for different components of BEP according to programmes need
Role out climate change, regional curriculum and values education materials, staff orientation and introducing these materials to BRAC Primary Schools
Develop and review supplementary books and materials, various teaching-learning materials, methodology and approach to improve the quality of BRAC students
Effectively analyse students learning process & difficulties, provide evaluative feedback to teachers including prescribing ways to maintain progress and overcome difficulties
Develop and review various types of training manual and facilitate according to the requirement of programme
Arrange, coordinate and conduct various training, workshops and meetings for programme purpose and capacity development
Develop manual on reading techniques for enhancing reading habits through practicing the existing materials from grade I-V
Visit schools and attend parents meeting to identify the problems and take initiatives to overcome the problems by sharing with senior management
Work cooperatively and productively as a team member in planning, supporting and providing instruction and involve closely with different units of BEP for effective implementation of the overall programme interventions
Educational Requirements:
Master’s degree in Education / Social Science discipline from any recognised university with minimum CGPA/ GPA 3.00 or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in material development and curriculum sector
Additional Job Requirements:

Assist in maintaining relationships with different stakeholders GOs and NGOs
Have facilitation, report writing and research conduction (necessary tools development and data analysis) skill
Support Quality team to set indicator for ensuring quality education
