Position: Senior Officer, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEAL); Skills Development Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct data collection on the field following the set guidelines for survey, focusing on data quality
Collect data as per questionnaires designed in TaroWorks Software by using smart phone or tab, and review and submit to server within timeline
Closely monitor the progress of data entry in TaroWorks and report incorrect entries to the supervisor immediately
Look for additional observations, check on the quality of questions etc. and provide feedback to analysts
Carry out monitoring data analysis and deliver quality in line with field visits and requirements
Frequent field visit to monitor the field activities
Developing capacity of project and partner staff and, where relevant, external stakeholders, to play an effective role in the data validation processes
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor/ Master degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Anthropology/ EEE/ CSE or relevant subject from any reputed University with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or equivalent CGPA is acceptable
Experience Requirements:
At least 1 year experience in the field of quantitative and qualitative research and data validation and analysis
Additional Job Requirements:

Knowledge on Research, report writing, M&E framework including log frame development
Reference writing by using Endnote,
Proficient using Excel, SPSS, Atlas-ti, STATA, R or other statistical analysis software
Excellent working knowledge of computer applications like MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
Strong programming skills in Java required. Familiarity with ArcGIS and Tableau preferred
Demonstrated ability to implement advanced data analysis and database management tasks
Proficient in written and oral communication skills both in Bangla and English.
Strong writings skills for quantitative and qualitative reports and project proposals
Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity for social inclusion (especially for female, transgender people and People with Disabilities)
