Manager, Policy and Advocacy; Migration Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Prepare plan and design for implementing policy advocacy framework
Supervise district level planned activities ( awareness, campaign and networking) and provide guidance to project staffs for ensuring quality programme implementation/ field operations
Visit field for effective field operation and update the progress/ significant changes
Develop IEC/ BCC materials and advocacy tools for effective mass awareness raising and policy advocacy
Maintain liaison with relevant stakeholders with Ministries, BMET, DEMO, Probashi Kollyan Bank, Financial Institutes, Media, CSO’s and likeminded organizations and assist team to arrange issue based event at national and field level
Guide on ‘best practice’ approach to all aspects of programme and project management which is practical and result focused.
Work closely with team members to provide training on strategic initiatives, project operation, problem solving, prioritization of work and improving quality thereby
Troubleshoot project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, identify and implement creative solutions.
Support to the migration staff and partners in order to build their skills and capabilities to do local level advocacy and actions on migration to ascertain the migrants rights and protection
Networking with local, national and regional alliance on migration for formulation of policy Advocacy and campaign
Prepare periodical report writing/ MIS, case story and documentation

Requirements

Educational Requirements: Master with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination

Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years’ of experience in the development field, especially on awareness campaign and advocacy

Additional Requirements:


Have knowledge on project management, programme monitoring and continuous guidance
Have skills on networking, stakeholders liaison and develop relationship, partner organisation, like minded organisation and donors
Have competencies on IEC/ BCC material preparation, best practice identification and innovation
Have knowledge on project planning and development
