Senior Manager, Grants and Monitoring & Evaluation; Communicable Diseases Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Ensure detail project work plan, budget preparation and actively participating in grant negotiation
Develop the overall framework/ reporting format of the monitoring and evaluation activities
Prepare consolidated progress reports for the management including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation, and providing specific recommendations independently
Prepare different report such as dashboard preparation, progress update and disbursement request for donor’s in regular basis
Carry out regular field visit to support implementation of monitoring and evaluation, check the quality of data produced
Ensure developing concept note, agreement/ sub-agreement and take care of other grant management issues
Lead and ensure efficient handling of knowledge and resources in terms of knowledge management
Ensure data compilation and different programmatic report generation
Coordinate with Government, NGO’s, Donor and technical partners for smooth implementation of the programme
Drive capacity building of team members and leading a diversified team independently
Formulate log frame and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) plan, annual operational plan
Provide research support for strengthening the programme and evidence/ knowledge generation
Ensure necessary support various types of audit activities including internal and external



Educational Requirements: MBA/ Masters in MIS/ Finance/ Accounting/ Statistics/ Bio-Statistics/ Economics/ Business Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. Applicants having MPH degree will be preferred.


Experience Requirement: Minimum 7 years work experience in relevant field

Knowledge on strategy of programme implementation
Knowledge about TB control programme in Bangladesh
Knowledge on organisational procedure
Knowledge on health system in Bangladesh
Strong knowledge on data collection and data analysis, data management & MIS management
Knowledge on advanced statistical software e.g. Excel, STATA, SPSS and real time analysis software
Have knowledge on programme monitoring and evaluation
Have skills on effective communication and report writing
Experienced in managing information systems projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
