Area Manager, Microfinance

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Purpose of this role is to lead Micro finance activities at area level in BRAC Rwanda. Job responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
To follow up on the BM’s daily activities both in the field and in office to verify member admission, loan scheme and necessary paper/documents as per requirement.
To facilitate audit, monitoring, review and liaison with the local government and other organizations in the area.
To check mission control, DCR, cash books, payment of the day, cash withdraws from bank, cash deposits at bank and cash transfer to Area Office during field visits.
To guide and supervise BM and Cos to ensure the right members enrollment and quality of loan disbursed.
To prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and update the respective supervisor. To supervise the cash and bank transactions in the field



Educational Requirements: Minimum Master Degree in any discipline from a reputed University.


Experience Requirement: At least five years of experience in Micro finance field.

Verbal proficiency in English
Self-motivated and result oriented
Computer Proficiency (Intermediate level)
No grievance record in service tenure
Candidates having working experience in BRAC International Countries will get preference
