Area Manager, SEP
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Purpose of this role is to lead SEP activities at area level in BRAC Rwanda. Job responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
To prepare branch wise yearly target plans and conduct monthly meetings with CO SEP
at the area office once a month.
To verify loan proposals to ascertain credit worthiness of borrowers, check loan
documents, verify land deeds, interview with the Guarantor, conduct business viability
and assess loan demand.
Approve loan amount based on the physical verifications in the above context as per
table of authority.
Disburse approved loan along with CO SEP and Branch Accounts Officer and conduct
pre-disbursement orientation to the borrowers.
Identify new perspective business in collaboration with CO(SEP);
Ensure and monitor 100% credit recovery on daily basis and ensure collected money is
recorded in the DCR.
Follow up borrowers if there is any payment missing.
To verify the migrated borrowers list and take necessary steps.
To guide and supervise CO(SEP) to ensure the quality of borrowers and to achieve
disbursement target;
To ensure smooth cash flow for credit disbursement as per plan;
To prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and send to Program Manager;
Capacity development of the CO (SEP) to perform their job efficiently and effectively
and move them to next higher position
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Minimum Master Degree in any discipline from a reputed University.
Experience Requirement:
At least five years of experience in Micro finance field
Additional Requirements:
Verbal proficiency in English
Self-motivated and result oriented
Computer Proficiency (Intermediate level)
No grievance record in service tenure
Candidates having working experience in BRAC International Countries will get preference
