Senior Manager, Quality, Curriculum and Knowledge Management, BRAC Education Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Develop and implement annual plans for quality and curriculum development for all the BEP schools and support the different technical teams.
Strengthen capacity of the technical and quality team to meet BEP's requirement to achieve the national standard and beyond to develop a USP for all the programmes.
Maintain the overall quality of education, innovate and enhance teaching learning process, in alignment with NCTB and NAPE.
Proactively identify areas to incorporate technology in education for innovative teaching and learning environment, in line with organisation priority, national and SDG goals.
Ensure the quality of the ongoing BEP schools and in the partner schools to achieve BEP objectives.
Carry out need assessment to establish the need for material in the content area and review of existing materials, validate and incorporate new ideas which must be focused on contemporary issues related environment and climate change.
Working to pace out an effective assessment system focusing on creative and competency based assessment and also settling a competency based result system.
Conducting need based qualitative or quantitative action research as well as monitoring.
Support the field colleagues by conducting training and workshops to convey clear instructions, technical guidance, for execution of BEP Quality improvement system by curriculum development and Quality assurance unit.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements: Masters in Education or from related Social Science discipline from any recognised educational institute with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination. Diploma/ certificate course on monitoring/ education will be given advantage.


Experience Requirement: 8-10 years experience in Education, Research and Evaluation.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to formulate and skill to prepare concept papers on education/ social development related matters.
Assist in quality monitoring finding analysis, review of training modules etc.
