Project Manager- UBS-funded Projects, Social Enterprise, BRAC Education Programme


Job Description/Responsibilities:
* Operate 15 UBS funded primary schools as per plans in the project proposal and keep supervisor updated on progress * Supervise and guide Programme Organizers (POs) on effective management of the schools and how to engage the teaching staff in making the schools sustainable, delivering quality education and build healthy relationships with parents and communities * Monitor school operation as per the academic calendar, track fee collection status and guide both teaching and admin staff in case of deviations and underperformance * Contribute in the preparation/revision of school operations guideline, brief POs and teaching staff on the same as well as on other BRAC policies, and ensure that all associated with the schools’ operations strictly follow all policies and guidelines * Lead construction, renovation and major maintenance tasks round the year * Track and respond to schools’ requirement for personnel (teaching/admin staff), technological support, supplies and other resources * Bridge between SE training, local admin and BIED team to ensure on time implementation of teachers’ capacity building as well as education quality enhancement initiatives * Immediately report to supervisor about any violation of policies/emergencies/requirements that need quick attention or approval * Coordinate between local admin and central marketing team to plan, prepare and implement promotional campaigns to boost admissions and also take initiative to prevent dropouts * Give insights to the senior team that will help formulate future strategies to achieve sustainability and greater program impact leading to donor satisfaction * Under close guidance and direction from the supervisor (C,Q&T), effectively manage donor communication * Work closely with the supervisor to develop reports for donors and submit the same on time, and write proposals including budget for new funds * Implement any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Educational Requirements: The candidate should have Graduation/ Masters in Education/ Management/ Marketing/ Social Science/ English from any government approved institute with minimum GPA or CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement: Minimum 4 to 5 years


Additional Requirements: Should have Knowledge on global and national education policies and national curriculum Should have Knowledge on target market and financial viability Should have Report and proposal writing skills, written and oral communications, analytical and interpersonal skills, Coordination skills, Team building capacity Should have English language and computer proficiencies Shouls have experience in managing donor communications Experience in the education project management will be an added advantage Able to prioritize’ tasks and meet deadlines

Age: Age at most 35 years
