Position: Programme Manager, GFD (Contractual); Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Prepare the work plan of the project to smooth operation of General Food Distribution (GFD) & E-voucher
Coordinate all the project activities at the district level
Ensure achievement of the project objectives in accordance with the project policies and strategies, and implementation plans
Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities, and monitoring track the achievement of overall project objectives
Attend in the Meeting, Session and workshop as BRAC representative
Ensure effective monitoring of the project activities
Identify staff training needs & ensure need based training for respective individuals timely and appropriately
Provide on the job training, coaching and mentoring to the project staff working in the field
Conduct team meeting regularly and motivate them to achieve the project activities
Ensure reports of any kind to management & donor in time when and if necessary
Coordinate with the other NGO and GOB official for avoid the duplication of the project activity
Keep Close relation with Other Team leader, Grants team, Procurement Team and Finance team for smooth operation of the program
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Educational Requirements:
Masters’ in Social Science/ Development Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university
Experience Requirements:
10 years’ of relevant work experience in rural development project, GFD, E- voucher & DRR Programme
