Job Description/Responsibilities:
BRAC’s Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) programme in Bangladesh, formerly known as Targeting the Ultra Poor (TUP) programme, is recognised worldwide as the pioneer of the Graduation approach and acclaimed for its innovative and holistic solution to ultra poverty. This approach aim to enable ultra-poor households to achieve key milestones towards sustainable livelihoods and socioeconomic resilience, in order to progress along a pathway out of extreme poverty. Since it began in 2002 to December 2018, the programme has served more than 1.9 million ultra-poor households in Bangladesh and also implementing this approach globally in different context. Currently the programme is running its operation in 44 districts across Bangladesh with a large workforce of more than 2700. Considering the continuous adaptation and iteration, this programme is looking for a “Senior Programme Manager, Programme Development and Partnership Management” who will be closely engaged with this process along with designing different special projects, improving system and process efficiency, quality service delivery, etc.
Contribute in developing long term programme strategy through designing special projects, pilots, initiating technical innovation, incorporate field learning and design sectoral strategy (poultry and livestock, Agriculture, Non-farm, community mobilisation, health).
Explore, create and manage partnership opportunities within and outside BRAC regarding service market linkage creation and resource mobilisation in order to make the programme more cost effective and efficient.
Lead in technical service delivery planning as well as ensure timeliness, cost effectiveness and quality of service delivery (Enterprise development-poultry, livestock, Agriculture & Non-farm; Component specific-community mobilisation, health care) to the programme for effective implementation.
Develop managerial and technical skills of the team through training, coaching, mentoring and proper orientation based on individual and overall need of the programme.
Develop technical standards, identify gaps and provide technical guidance to operation team in order to design solution.
Ensure close work relationship, effective coordination and integration between technical and other units (M&E, Operations etc.) of the programme to ensure proper services delivery and achieve optimum use of resources.
Educational Requirements:
Graduation from any background preferably from Business Administration.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 7 years working experience in relevant field, preferably demonstrable experience of working with livelihoods, market analysis, value chain development and business planning, implementation of process flow of technical service delivery.
Additional Job Requirements:

Support in reviewing projects, strategy and AoP of UPG programme.
Support other units of UPG programme by providing people development support, project review etc.
