Sector Specialist, Health Nutrition and Population Programme (Contractual)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to implement Nutrition Project at community level.
Development of the training modules; Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
Conduct training of trainers on IYCF, adolescent and maternal nutrition.
Ensure quality assurance of program activities and approaches through regular monitoring and supervision by frequent field visits.
Prepare analytical reports from Monthly Performance Report (MPR) and other data sources.
Document programme activities, achievement, lesson learnt and challenges to disseminate in different field level meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops.
Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminar forums etc.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Masters in Nutrition/ Public Health from any recognised university with all 2nd class.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in required
Additional Requirements:
Have excellent knowledge on nutrition
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Need to have knowledge on MS Office
