Manager, Advocacy and Networking, Integrated Development Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Identify IDP advocacy priority areas for Haor, Indigenous Peoples (IP) to formulate, coordinate, and integrate the policy and advocacy strategy with other internal team.
Plan, organize and coordinate advocacy campaigns and influencing events to carry out IDP related resource, policy and advocacy agenda collaborating with and engaging different stakeholder as appropriate.
Participate and represent in advocacy events/ trainings/ workshops for capacity building and networking.
Build strategic partnerships with organizations that will assist IDP in meeting desired policy agenda outcomes.
Develop IEC/BCC materials and advocacy tools for effective mass awareness-raising and policy advocacy.
Maintain liaison with relevant stakeholders i.e. Ministries, Financial Institutes, Media, CSO’s and likeminded organizations and arrange issue based event at national level and field level.
Collaborate with other projects in haor and indigenous peoples, also collaborate with internal advocacy team for making exposure of IDP externally.
Support to the haor and IP staff and partners in order to build their skills and capabilities to do local level advocacy and actions on holistic development to ascertain the effectiveness of integrated approach.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures. Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident.
Any task assigned by the management for succeeding program objectives.



Educational Requirements: Master's in Economics/ Development Economics/ Development Studies/ International Relations/ Public Administration/ Sociology/ Management/ International Development or any other Social Science related subject from any recognised university.


Experience Requirement:
5 years of experience in the policy, advocacy, campaign, and networking field
