Deputy Manager, Fundraising, Skills Development Programme (SDP)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

Innovate and drive the total process of project design including conceptualisation, design, writing and editing funding proposals
Ensure tracking of possible fundraising streams from governmental and major institutional partners
Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements: Master's in Economics/ Development Economics/ Development Studies/ International Relations/ Public Administration/ Sociology/ Management/ International Development or any other related subject from a recognised university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement: At least two years’ experience in developing funding proposals for a local or international development organisation


Additional Requirements:
Basic knowledge on developing log frame, results framework, risk assessment and stakeholder analysis for programme design
Ability to think and execute tasks strategically
Sound problem solving and analytical skills
Inquisitive, adaptive, ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to work across cultural and gender diversity, persons with disabilities
