Nurse; Health, Nutrition and Population Programme (HNPP)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

Perform duties as per roster and undertake responsibilities for giving OPD services and Family Planning services (if trained)
Receive and attend patients, give patient counseling and provide health education
Conduct normal delivery and MR with/ without direct guidance and support of Medical Officers
Provide indoor patient care, monitor and follow-up; and provide assistance in operation theater during surgical procedure
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required
Prepare medicine requisition; maintain medicine and other general stocks as per the assignment given by the personnel in-charge
Uphold BRAC values and culture and ensure regular practice among all the BHC team members
Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements: Junior Midwife Certification / Diploma in Nursing from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement: Minimum 01 year of previous work experience in patient management in any clinic/ hospital is required


Additional Requirements:
Firm knowledge in nursing and relevant activities
Excellent interpersonal skill
Good communication skill
Should be able to work in team and with colleagues from different levels in the organization
Should be adaptable and should have a positive attitude towards work
Should be result oriented and ready to take prompt actions to achieve objectives
Adequate skills in various computer applications to keep records
