Manager, Migration Programme (Contractual)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

Ensure project plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to programme challenges, and directing others for successful completion of project on time and in budget
Provide technical guidance to the project staffs and partner organizations to ensure M & E related activities of the projects/ programme including development of indicators
Help and prepare monthly implementation plan of activities related to monitoring with detailed annual activity plan in accordance with budget
Develop monitoring tools and formats, collect periodical data from field and generate M&E reports
Develop M&E framework, plan and guidelines for Migration Programme and projects
Documents best practices and success stories, prepares documentation for potential program users and submits timely, high quality reports to donor
Help project team and other stakeholders define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goal of the programme.
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of BRAC and the donors
Advice on ‘best practice’ approach to all aspects of programme and project management which is practical and result focused
Ensuring project plans, specifications, roles and responsibilities and the necessary communications are defined and completed to standard within the programme framework
Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to BRAC and donor
Work closely with team members to provide training on strategic initiatives, project operation, problem solving, prioritization of work and improving quality thereby
Develop and evaluate the tools and techniques used by the project to manage the project
Mentoring team members by sharing tips and techniques
Facilitate project team and others to identify project requirements and ensure they align with programme objectives
Collaborate with other managers to execute programme
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements: MSS from any reputed university with all 2nd class

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years’ experience in the development field including project management


Additional Requirements:
Knowledge on Project cycle management; monitoring and evaluation; conceptual understanding of development and migration issues
Have skills on planning; problem solving; decision-making; project proposal writing; report writing; budgeting
Have competencies on leadership; communication; coordinating; creativity and innovativeness
