Career Opportunity

The generation that will change Bangladesh are here already; we envision a future where this demographic dividend will realise their full potential. By preparing the adolescents and youth of Bangladesh for the ever changing nature of life, citizenship and work, the BRAC Youth Platform (BYP) aims to provide effective pathways for the leaders of tomorrow.

Over the last 45 years, BRAC has grown to become the largest non-profit development organisation in the world, and our work has empowered millions of people, allowing them to take control of their lives. Working specifically with adolescents and youth, a career at BRAC offers you endless ways to make a change in our world today.

We want our staff to be aware of the best practices in development, share that knowledge as a team player, generate innovative ideas, and have an appetite for experimentation and iteration.

We’re looking for strategic thinkers to support our pilot and scale-up initiatives in solving some of the most challenging problems the adolescents and youth are facing right now. You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to improve the quality of life for underserved communities across the country. Not only will you gain inspiration from them, but you will also be sharpening your empathic abilities, by travelling and conducting activities across Bangladesh.

Are you quick on your feet and able to think of creative solutions on the go? Are you able to grasp new technology as they appear, and evolve alongside them, adjusting your workflow to new platforms and processes? Are you a team player and a great communicator with adolescents, youth and adults alike?

For a position at the BRAC Youth Platform, craft is a given, leadership experience is a must and passion for development, especially for adolescents and youth, is absolutely critical. This is a role for a resilient and efficient multi-tasker who can think strategically, work well in a team, and deliver on deadlines, and approach relationships and projects with flexibility, creativity and a can-do-spirit.
