Senior Manager, M&E; Migration Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework, plan and guidelines for Migration Programme and projects.
  • Develop monitoring tools and formats, collect periodical data from field and generate M&E reports through real-time data gathering or digital data collection apps. 
  • Provide technical guidance to the project staffs and partner organisations to ensure M&E related activities of the projects/ programme including development of indicators.
  • Assist and prepare monthly implementation plan of activities related to monitoring with detailed annual activity plan in accordance with budget.
  • Conduct regular visits to the field areas to oversee progress of project and partner’s activities; provide feedback from bottom to senior management level.
  • Guide the personnel responsible for project operation at head office, field offices in collecting regular field information following MIS and organise MIS data,
  • Assist and prepare project/programme reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis through digital data collection app.
  • Prepare documentation of best practices and success stories for potential program users and submit high quality reports to donor within timeline.
  • Develop and manage database on different software like SPSS and other software, especially on digital data collection apps.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements:

Masters in Social Science/Statistics or any other relevant subject(s) from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.


Experience Requirement:

Minimum 5 years’ of work experience in the relevant field with extensive focus on M&E plan development, MIS development, different monitoring tools development, M&E framework, research and organising lesson learning sessions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Firm knowledge on project cycle management; M&E and its processes
  • Conceptual understanding of development and migration issues
  • Strong knowledge on MIS and system development, data analysis, Theory of Change, logical framework, risk matrix, research, guideline and checklist development etc.
  • Strong report writing and project proposal writing skills
  • Excellent problem solving, planning and decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge with command on MS Excel, MS Access among other packages of MS Office
  • Proficiency in handling data through SPSS or relevant software
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
