Information Service Centre Manager; Migration Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to run and ensure proper functioning of Information Centre at Dhaka and Chattogram.
  • Determine returnee’s requirements by completing intake interviews; determine service objectives and plans.
  • Coordinate the services being provided and arrange resources; including transportation and escort to accommodation facilities.
  • Monitor cases by verifying clients' responses and providing personal support.
  • Maintain clients' records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress.
  • Communicate clients' progress by conducting meetings, evaluations and disseminating results 
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising treatment and result data and trends
  • Give professional advice to returnees promptly and put their concerns and needs first
  • Answer telephone enquiries, letters and emails from returnees and their family members and offer advice directly to them
  • Maintain coordination among 10 DRSC (District Reintegration Service Centre) and provide them required support.
  • Operate airport based emergency support and report and document those as per M&E guideline.
  • Generate need based/issue based monthly/periodical report and share those with management, M&E and Knowledge Management team.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements:

Bachelors/Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.


Experience Requirement:

Minimum 03 years’ experience in development field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Firm knowledge on reporting and database management.
  • Excellent problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.
  • Expertise on report writing and budgeting.
  • Excellent competencies on leadership, coordination, communication, creativity and innovativeness.
