Urban TB Coordinator, Urban Development Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Regular field visit to monitor the programme performance of the assigned area
  • Conduct monthly meeting with DMs to disseminate the  programmatic decision and performance analysis
  • Assist and ensure adequate and timely supply of anti TB drugs and other items
  • To ensure quality of DOT, programmatic decision, supply of sufficient  drugs and logistics and  staff capacity development
  • Ensure the monthly expenditure (Orientation/ Forum related) in the field level in accordance with monthly/quarterly activity
  • Ensure the collection and analysis of monthly and quarterly TB report from the fields and provide necessary instruction, feedback and support to the field staff
  • Observe the trends of expenditure of the programme activities, if there is any irrelevant situation share with respective authority to take corrective measure
  • Provide regular follow-up to maintain reporting, report submission from field in time
  • Support internal budget control and training/ Forum/ Orientation
  • Coordinate with GO/NGO and other stakeholder for smooth programme operations
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements:

Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations


Experience Requirement:

at least 6 years of experience with NGOs, UN agency or international development organization and out of 6 years at least 3 years’ experience in the Health project or programme  or Health Care services sector is mandatory

Additional Requirements:

  • Have substantial experience in operations management of large scale, complex programmes/ projects.
  • Have experience of working in urban development interventions
  • Have knowledge on National guideline on TB, Conduct training on TB Control Program, Supervision and monitoring
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Bangla and English
  • Have Computer proficiency on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Have skills in Leadership and people management, Motivation, Negotiation, Strategic thinking, Decision making and problem solving, Communication and documentation, Planning and Prioritising, Reporting and recording  and Operational management of projects/ programmes
  • Must have creativity, result oriented, integrity, flexibility, decisiveness, adaptability, teamwork and self-motivated, Ability to plan and manage work independently; Commitment to learning, developing skills, sharing knowledge and information and Ability to coordination of other stakeholder
