Position

Programme Organiser, General, Urban Development Programme (Project Staff)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Implementation Urban Development Programme (UDP) interventions at the field level as front line staff.
Closely follow up community organisers to ensure health services and collective actions by community groups.
Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials for implementing social accountability initiatives.
Follow up field level implementation in allocated district/city under UDP coverage.
Maintain documentation and prepare monthly MIS report.
Assist in organising training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets.
Provide support to the technical department & research, knowledge management & M&E department of UDP in the field for effective urban interventions.
Use monitoring data to solve performance issues.
Identify and assist in organising capacity development trainings/workshops for the community organizers.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor/ Master’s degree from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 1-2 years working experience at a relevant position. Substantial experience in operations management in the urban areas. Experience of implementing pilot projects successfully.
