Position

Chief of Party, BRAC Education Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Develop activity and resource plan for Gender Responsive Education & Skills Program in CTG Hill Tracts (GRESP-CHT) through survey, preparing an operating plan accordingly.
Ensure quality management system and compliance; Prepare plan for staff development.
Formulate the annual operating plan and align the budget and expenditure and Implement accordingly.
Analyse program quality, identify key issues of program implementation and work closely with BEP field management, senior management and other stakeholders to address those.
Analysis of programme outputs/ outcomes, performance and identification of progress and initiate necessary steps.
Identify the key strategies for monitoring and evaluation and also facilitate to implement the process.
Ensure collaboration all stakeholders including higher management of BRAC, Advisory committee, other programmes involved (SDP, GJ&D, SIL, Communications etc.), GoB (NGOB, Hill council, Zilla Parishad etc.), project partners (GAC, UNDP) among others.
Tracking budget, reports and financial status of the programme.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Post graduate degree preferably in Social Science discipline or in any relevant subject from any recognised education institute.

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 10 years of working experience in education or development field.

Additional Requirements:

According to the need of different projects, provide necessary support to BEP and relevant BRAC departments in developing different concept notes and budget notes.
Planning and designing workshops/ exposure visits for BEP and outside visitors.
