Position

Manager-Investigation, Investigation Unit, Human Resource Division


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Assist the management for providing yearly Budget, Staffing plan, strategy of investigation.
  • Supervise and follow-up the overall activities of the assigned enquiry team.
  • Study the allegation carefully and select a competent enquiry team according to the merits of the complaints.
  • Distribute the same complaint to the respective enquiry team and ensure investigation plan.
  • Ensure and send Show cause/Charge sheet/Enquiry notice to the alleged accused according to procedure
  • Review/check all investigation reports along with the specific complaints, show cause/charge sheet, findings of enquiry team and evidences by ensuring consistencies in each level.
  • Ensure submission of a smart & qualitative (error free) investigation report.
  • Complete and submit investigation report to Head of Investigation within 45 days (max).
  • Provide guidance/coaching/feedback to the assigned team for performing their job efficiently & effectively maintaining BRAC values and procedure.
  • Make field visit at least twice in a month to follow up enquiry team and taking interview of the accused as per requirement
  • Lead any special inspections, investigations, examinations or reviews on frauds, suspect cases or irregularities requested by the senior management.
  • Coordinate with HR, Ombudsperson’s office, Legal & Compliance Department, Anti-Corruption Commission and other programs/stakeholders regarding investigation purposes.
  • Carry out any other jobs entrusted by the Authority and organize Bi-Monthly/Yearly meetings/workshop.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

- Masters/MBA in Accounting/Finance/Management from any recognized UGC approved university with minimum all 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA. Third division/class or CGPA below 2.00 is not acceptable.

- Applicants having Chartered Accountancy Course completed from a reputed firm/institute will be given preference.

  • At least 6 years of experience in Program/Audit, Investigation and Accounts
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience in managerial position


Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent Presentation and Interviewing skills
  • Report writing skills both in Bangla and English
  • Skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
