Deputy Manager, MIS & Technology, Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Organise and evaluate technology operations for the programme
  • Assist in identify programme needs and ensuring ideal software solutions are developed
  • Assist in planning software development projects in terms of the necessity of the programme
  • Cooperate in designing, developing, implementing systems, policies and procedures for Software related projects
  • Gathering business requirements for the software development projects with respect to the programme modality
  • Coordinate UAT and different pilots for all software projects
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update existing software solutions and system architecture
  • Procurement of the server, hardware as and when needed
  • Facilitate with proper understanding and timely monitoring the SLA, AMC and other vendor documents which are related to the programme budgeting and planning
  • Design training programs and workshops for staffs
  • Assist in managing and reporting on allocation of technology and digitalisation budget of the programme
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware and software best suited for the programme
  • Support managing technology infrastructure of the programme
  • Facilitate data security and data backup techniques throughout the programme
  • Assist to data validation of the MIS reports
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so



Educational Requirements:

B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) / Computer Science (CS)/ Information Technology (IT) from any recognised university with minimum all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No third class/ division or below CGPA 2.00 is acceptable


Experience Requirement:

Minimum 3 years of working experience in software development / database development / business analysis in any reputed software company

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have real life experience on Software development life cycle
  • Experience in software development, database development is required
  • Experience with preparing technical documentation
  • Have analytical and presentation skills with critical thinking ability
  • Competent to work in pressure and in high stress environment
  • Have ability of teamwork, team building and commitment integrity
  • Have flexibility in dealing with diverse tasks
