Position

Manager, Organisational Development, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, revise and update the capacity building materials including IEC and BCC materials according to the programmes, enterprises and department’s needs with international standard
  • Develop and facilitate the materials development plan of Organisational Development (OD) in line with organisational gender capacity needs
  • Develop and circulate necessary periodic reports and provide technical guidance to the staff for documentation and reporting
  • Review and actions to revise different communication materials, policies, guidelines and related documents for including the gender equality perspectives 
  • Develop necessary handouts, leaflets and other relevant materials for the Gender Focal Point platform at Head Office and field to perform them as a gender advocate for ensuing gender equality in BRAC
  • Support Monitoring and Evaluation and Knowledge Management team to ensure result tracking of Gender responsive work environment action
  • Supervise Senior Sector Specialist (SSS) with necessary advice and suggestions to achieve Gender Justice and Diversity’s organisational development objectives and targets.
  • Conduct sessions, forums, dialogues and meetings for promoting Gender responsive work environment at Head Office and provide necessary guidance to implement at field level.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures.
  • Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Post Graduation from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA 2.50 is acceptable.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in gender mainstreaming in organisation.
  • Experiencing in developing and reviewing training modules, required materials and policies; capacity development approaches.
  • Expertise in budget management, team management and as a trainer/ facilitator.
