Position

Deputy Manager-Finance and Grants, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing GJD annual programme budget including major projects/ activities detail budgets in consultation with respective personnel. 
  • Collecting and analyzing existing financial data for GJD programme along with other standalone projects.
  • Regularly tracking budget and prepare report & presentation for higher management.
  • Support to provide budget code of the relevant activities, human resources and other budgetary item.
  • Take initiative for obtaining approval from NGO Affairs Bureau for all foreign donor financed projects. Check FD-6, FD-7, FC-1 along with FD-2 and FD-3 for project approval and fund release order.
  • Check the financial statements and provide supporting documents and necessary papers to external auditors for preparation of FD-4 for all donor financed projects on time as per requirement and review of audit reports after submission.
  • Work as grant focal of GJD and share  monthly basis financial report to all lead
  • Besides the mention work, any other tasks assigned by management which is relevant to the finance, accounts, grants and NGO bureau are responsible and ready to do.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

BBA/ Masters/ MBA in Finance/ Accounting from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA 2.50 is acceptable.

  • Minimum 5 years in the following area(s): Accounts / Finance / Audit / Budget/Grants/NGO Bureau related tasks
  • Experience in the following organisations(s): NGO / INGO / Corporate / Banks or any Financial Development Agencies.
