Position

Executive Assistant; Advocacy for Social Change


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all sort of communications of Director of Advocacy for Social Change, Technology and Partnerships with other programmes.
  • Maintain all communication matters with quality related to all programmes of BRAC and outside BRAC if necessary
  • Assist and perform in strategic activities whenever delegated by the Director.
  • Developing communications  ideas for best representing the programmes among key stakeholders
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Manage Director’s agenda/ calendars
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence/mails/packages etc.
  • Schedule, organize meeting minutes, conference and workshop
  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the Director to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations;
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence/mails/packages etc
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors in any discipline from any recognised University or Institute with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA

Experience Requirement:

01 year of relevant work experience in any reputed organisation is preferred.


Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge in Office administration, Communication
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Should have the ability to multitask, work independently and under pressure
