Position

Officer, Knowledge Management; HRLS and Social Compliance


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Identify and collect relevant resources (operational research and data analysis) from different stakeholders and factories as well as promote Social Compliance.
  • Ensure timely communication, keep documentation, maintain reports and support administrative and operational tasks related to Nirapon 2.0.
  • Develop Social Compliance performance report in liaising with others and disseminate to the internal and external audiences regularly.
  • Ensure financial issues and collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Provide support to documents good practices, lessons learnt, and tips on documentation of the initiative with useful information for performing their documentation duties.
  • Support internal and external communication with factories and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Strengthen knowledge sharing processes and develop the capacity of the Social Compliance team by providing relevant material support.
  • Provide logistic and operational support/ guideline for innovation/ pilot, research and prepare reports.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Law/ International Relations or any other relevant field from any recognised university/ institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

Minimum one (01) year experience in the development sector is required. Candidates having experience in especially research-based and or program implementation will get preference.


Additional Requirements:

  • Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
  • Understanding in gender equality, property rights and knowledge management within a development context
  • Excellent skills in networking and moderation services and able to gather field experience to develop knowledge documents
  • Strong communication skill including maintaining liaison with multi-stakeholder
  • Fluency in English and Bangla, (both oral and written) is required
  • Learning and sharing knowledge and encourage the learning of others
