Position

Senior Specialist, Communication & Grant Management, BRAC Education Programme (Contractual)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop different concept notes, project proposals and internal/ external reports as per need of the education programme. 
  • Preparing progress report on a quarterly/ bi-annual/ annual basis.
  • Develop knowledge materials as per need of the programme. 
  • Maintain communications and up-to-date knowledge about programme activities through field visits and attend different forum/ meetings.
  • Maintain smooth, friendly and effective liaison with other unit/ department/ organisation in order to enhance knowledge on different education and other activities.
  • Maintain effective communications with donors including government.
  • Manage grant in line with the procedures, policy well and remain accountable for rightly tracking.
  • Plan, arrange and coordinate events.
  • Writing reports, minutes, articles etc.
  • Develop different communications materials i.e. brochures, flyers and posters.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

M.A. in English Literature & Language or MSS in relevant subject from any recognised university.

Experience Requirement:

8 years of professional experience of which 4 years in development sector.


Additional Requirements:

  • Provide necessary support to the departmental staffs for proper implementation of overall BEP philanthropy school activities.
  • Any other special assignments, as and when arises.
