Position

Deputy Manager, Communications,Health Nutrition and Population Programme(Contractual)


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic knowledge management and communications plans for promoting and marketing of NCD Project and Comprehensive Medical Center (CMC) offerings, campaigns and operations
  • Ensure archiving knowledge, best practice sharing and content development for promotion of the project to the internal and external shareholders
  • Ensure compliance of communications/ branding materials used/ produced for any event of NCD Project and Comprehensive Medical Center (CMC) aligned with BRAC branding guidelines
  • Collaborate with Programme implementation teams to review uptake and feedback
  • Increase awareness in programme about communications policy
  • Liaise with donors, stakeholders and technical partners for smooth functioning of project activities and policy making for the project
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Masters in any subject from any recognised university with minimum all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No third class/ division or below CGPA 2.50 is acceptable

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant sector


Additional Requirements:

  • Contemporary knowledge management, partnership development and management and communication practices and platforms
  • Knowledge on Public Health, development sector and global development scenario
  • Have strong oral, written and presentation and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and editing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Skills on event management, social media, creative writing, blogging & visual storytelling 
  • Competent on setting priorities and ensure meeting deadlines
  • Promoting and working in accordance with organisational values
