Position

Manager, Sales and Marketing; BRAC Learning Division


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute branding and marketing strategies and plan for training facilities
  • Contribute for promoting and selling of BRAC Learning Division (BLD) training modules
  • Ensure business development, sales strategies, sales marketing and operational support to BLD, BRAC
  • Supervise, follow- up and oversee the overall sales and marketing activities of designated projects through regular field visits and provide necessary support for further improvement
  • Ensure effective promotional work with the communication department and develop strategies and interventions to contribute towards the branding, image building and marketing of BRAC Learning Center (BLC)
  • Design and execute e-commerce promotional marketing campaigns and responsible for website content management
  • Ensure development of effective website/ webpage and app of BLC as well as maintenance of customer engagement by undertaking regular activities of BLC Facebook page
  • Meet with major stakeholders from all over the country on regular basis for the purpose of business development and make partnership with different association
  • Coordinate with all the Programmes of BRAC and prepare monthly reports and other required reports as requested by the Programme Head/ Director
  • Oversee market research activities including focus group discussions, surveys, internal data analysis, customer feedback trends and product development projects
  • Responsible for development and implementation of brand guidelines and ensuring brand compliance
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor in Business Administration/ Public Administration/ Tourism and Hospitality Management/ Marketing from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Post-graduation diploma or any professional certification in HR/ Management/ Tourism and Hospitality Management will be preferred.

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 05 years’ of relevant work experience in any reputed commercial/ development organisation with video preparation skills is required.


Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of NGO sector, economic and social context of the country
  • Firm knowledge on hospitality management and incentive mechanisms
  • Well versed in corporate communications with government officials, marketers, public affairs and other related fields
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Should have strong writing skills both in Bengali and English
  • Should possess ability to think critically and analytically
  • Should be able to supervise and manage team
  • Have proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photoshop, Illustrator, Video Editing etc.
