Position

Regional Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • To monitor community-based platforms to assess the quality of gender message delivery process at field level and share findings with programme
  • To monitor training and other events of gender mainstreaming and share findings with programme
  • To develop tools/ checklist/ guideline for data validation and data quality assessment
  • To conduct regular field visit to check the validity of reported data and assess the quality of data
  • To prepare report on data validation and data quality assessment and share with supervisors and programme
  • Contribute to develop M&E tools, checklists, formats and actively take part in conducting baseline and end-line survey/assessment for capturing gender results
  • To carry out data analysis from both qualitative and quantitative aspects
  • To prepare field visit reports and share findings with management
  • Contribute to provide technical support to BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises for monitoring their gender mainstreaming interventions and tracking results
  • Compilation of MIS data and prepare monthly reports
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Masters in Sociology/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Statistics/ Gender Studies/ Urban and Rural Planning/ Economic/ Mathematic or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

At least 3 years working experience in the related field


Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing M&E framework for development projects
  • Familiar with and able to use relevant software (i.e.; excel, SPSS and Access) to generate scientific data
  • Eagerness to make frequent field visits across Bangladesh
  • Considerable verbal and written communication skill both in English and Bangla
